  We visited Egmont during our first visit to the Sunshine Coast and feel lucky to had found Strongwater Camping and Cabins. We arrived in the off-season after the town had closed for the day and we failed to plan any accommodations in advance. Dwayne and Cheyenne welcomed us and introduced us to their very kind animal family. Facilities were very well kept and the hosts made every effort to have us enjoy our stay-which we did! We will definitely come again and recommend Strongwater to anyone spending time in Egmont.

  We thought this was just going to be a run-of-the-mill campground. Were we ever wrong! The cabin we stayed at was a pristine, comfy home that was a perfect little private piece of wilderness. The bath house facility was much nicer than we expected as well. And the owners were a highlight in their own right—extremely accommodating free-spirits who will help you have an unforgettable time in Egmont. All in all, a great value, and great experience. We're recommending it to all our friends.

  Cheyenne & Dwayne were amazing, always super helpful and lovely to chat to. Campgrounds were beautiful, shower and bathroom areas were immaculate. Use of canoe and new pig Jellybean were the highlights for us! Would definitely recommend and will be returning next year!

  Such a nice campsite. Wish I'd stayed longer. In fact it's been the best campsite in BC so far (now done about 3wks of camping). Quiet and shady. Great bathrooms. Near to the village and a cafe. They also have a canoe on the lake which you can borrow. The owners are super friendly and helpful - I mentioned that I needed to buy a pot and Cheyenne insisted on giving me one of hers! They offered me a beer when I arrived too and gave me an ice cream when they were opening up their ice cream van! They gave me their number in case I ever needed help on the rest of my trip. I cannot recommend this place emphatically enough :D
